🎉Celebrating my THIRD anniversary at Compass!🎉Reflecting on the past three years, my life and career have undergone a huge, once unimaginable, shift. My time at Compass has been nothing short of transformative, shaping my professional capabilities, personal identity and overall confidence. Here are my top three takeaways from three years: 1. 🙋♀️Surround yourself with people smarter than you. When I joined the team, I was struck by the caliber of individuals—bright, driven, and engaging. Initially intimidated, I look back today and realize I integrated into this exceptional community at some point, without even noticing, evolving into a peer among equals.2. 🙇♀️Listen to understand. Operating on a team where input is valued, regardless of title or tenure, is refreshing. Everyone was brought to the table for a reason, and our diverse backgrounds, questions, ideas, and ways of processing information has led to great discussion and solutions.3. 👪Join a community, not just a company.Looking back, so much of my transformation is thanks to unwavering support, continuous training, and a culture of empowerment at Compass. Embracing challenges, pushing boundaries, and striving for excellence are daily endeavors, where failures are learning opportunities and wins are celebrated. It is crazy to realize I belong among this talented team and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow here. AND, who knows? Maybe in three more years, I'll be running the place? (Just kidding… give me at least another ten.)

Mars consistently wins plaudits for being one of the best places to work. I recently celebrated my 10th anniversary here and I know it deserves to top every single list.I have worked with exceptional Associates on our confectionery and snack bar units, and the past six years leading our UK marketing team has been a career and personal highlight.Over my 10 years, three things especially stand out that I'm grateful to have learned:📈Coaching & Development: Make this your first priority as a leader.Too many amazing talents are struggling with Imposter Syndrome, spend your energy building their energy and their self-belief.💡Perspective: Great ideas are everywhere. Be curious and seek out diverse perspectives globally because every problem has inspiring solutions waiting to be discovered.🤝Purpose: First I learned about Economics of Mutuality, then we began to pivot our iconic brands like Maltesers and Galaxy into new purpose-led campaigns. All because "profit without purpose isn't meaningful, and purpose without profit isn't possible."Thanks to my Founders, Rockstars and Good Rebels teams for teaching me so much and embracing being the only ones who do what you do. Thanks to my UKLT peers for creating high standards and high care working together everyday. Special thanks to Roy Benin and Seth Klugherz for bringing me into Mars, and to the many who have taken time to coach me over the years, including Adam Grant, Michelle Frost, Hank Izzo, Matthew Lloyd, Tracey Massey, Berta de Pablos-Barbier, Blas Maquivar, Andrew Clarke, Marc Carena and Rankin Carroll. Here’s to the next 10 years of Tomorrow Starts Today!

After some time recharging, I'm heading back to the office tomorrow to start my 8th "new year" at Beam Suntory. This might be the first time I head back feeling #confident about my work, like I might actually know what I'm doing. 🤦♂️I remember the start of 2017, after a challenging 6 month onboarding, feeling absolutely #lost and #overwhelmed at the work in front of me and our #team. 2018-2019 led to some incredible accomplishments and industry changing work, but I still was treading water. The pandemic brought about new #challenges, just as I was getting #comfortable and confident. 2021-23 added new responsibilities that challenged and excited me as I learned new skills and partnered with colleagues I hadn't worked with before, but still I never really felt all that comfortable. But on the eve of my first day of the new year I feel comfortable and confident and I'm recognizing how unusual this feeling is for me. I don't like this feeling and it makes me feel #insecure. So much so that I'm actually questioning if this challenge-obsessing human being is challenging myself enough or maybe I just need to learn to embrace this feeling and be #okay with it...ahh the joys of an active mind and living with #anxiety where nothing is ever #goodenough ! 😉I can't wait to find the nuggets that will inspire me in the year ahead and the ways our team will build #strength, #capabilities, #courage, #care for one another, and continue to leverage our combined #talents better than we ever have. I can't wait to find those things that make me uncomfortable and drive me to be better in so many ways. I can't wait to look back this time next year and see the ways I've grown and the things I've learned. Wishing you and yours so much #love and #joy in the year ahead. Here's to being uncomfortable!#comfortzone #uncomfortable #work #getbetter #leadership #engagement #care

Happy to celebrate another work anniversary at Innova! 🎉 To honor my 3 years here, I'm sharing 3 of my learnings:🏆 Always strive for betterThe standard can always be raised. When you move out of survival mode into successful handling of the status quo - don't stop growing, but work toward even bigger and better results next!🎯 Come with a solutionWe run into challenges all the time (at least most of us do 😁) but it is far more helpful and effective to present a challenge along with a proposed solution - or two. 👩👩👧👦 Relationships matterWhether it concerns colleagues, business partners or suppliers: relationships can (help) make or break your success. Treat others the way you hope to be treated.Picture: the gorgeous tulips in front of Innova's HQ! ❤️

Happy Holiday Fellow Friends In Transition! As the holiday season rolls in, I'm experiencing it with a new perspective this year. After what feels like my whole life with Coca-Cola, my journey has shifted. Seeing the festive celebrations, how Coca-Cola really brings the holiday seasons to life, and the achievements of my former team brings a mix of nostalgia and pride. The joy and camaraderie of past holidays and team events hold a special place in my heart. This change, while bittersweet, also marks the start of an exciting new chapter. It's a time for reflection, gratitude, and anticipation of what's to come. I'm enthusiastic about exploring new opportunities where I can apply my experience and continue to grow.Looking forward to the conversations and connections that await. Thank you for being part of my professional network. To those who have navigated similar transitions, especially during the holiday season: How did you balance the reminiscence with moving forward? What strategies helped you in embracing new beginnings while staying connected to the fond memories of the past?I am optimistic about the future and open to new adventures and possibilities. I look forward to any advice, connections, or opportunities you might share.Thank you for being a part of my story. Wishing everyone a season filled with joy and success! #CareerTransition #NewBeginnings #LifeAfterco*ke #JobSearch #Networking #CareerAdvice #CareerJourney #ProfessionalGrowth #ReflectAndAdvance #OpportunityAwaits

Software Engineer @ Just Eat Takeaway | Google Women Techmakers Ambassador

🎉 Excited to celebrate my 6-month anniversary at Just Eat Takeaway.com! 🎉🚀 Highlights & Achievements:• Successfully deployed the new ‘Deposit Return Scheme’ feature on time across Irish markets, aligning with the recycling initiative in Ireland launched on Feb 1st, 2024. This action saved JET from regulatory fines amounting to 6% of global turnover. I also presented the impact of this initiative and my work during my domain’s global show & tell.• Enhanced my skills as a software engineer by embracing a T-shaped approach, learning new tools, processes, and technologies such as Vue.JS, Typescript, TestCafe testing framework, CICD pipeline, and monitoring/logging with Kibana and Grafana. Becoming a T- shaped Software Engineer allows me to keep up with the changing innovations in technology and become a more rounded engineer who can adapt and contribute effectively to diverse teams.• Participated in Black Tech Fest (BTF®) alongside JET, a sponsoring partner, to support the cultivation of a diverse talent pool for Product and Tech roles. Shared insights and resources from my tech journey, highlighting opportunities at JET for Early Careers candidates from underrepresented groups.• Engaged in JET's company-wide hackathon, collaborating with an amazing team!📚 Some Things I’ve Learned:• Effective Autonomy: Fostering teamwork while also honing the ability to work independently, knowing when to ask for help.• Investment in Learning and Development: The importance of ongoing training beyond daily tasks, leveraging resources like Pluralsight and LinkedIn Learning to set yourself up for longterm success.• Feedback Culture: Regularly asking for feedback and recognising the value of constructive criticism for personal growth. You can't improve what you can't measure.• Documentation and Recognition: Maintain a record of achievements and feedback, advocating for self-recognition and celebration of accomplishments.Looking forward to more growth and contributions in the journey ahead at Just Eat Takeaway! 🧡

As we continue to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and the milestones we have achieved, our focus naturally turns to the future. We are filled with excitement as we consider the strengths and opportunities that lie ahead of our staff. Our greatest assets are our employees - a group of talented individuals who have contributed to our success and will continue to play a crucial role in shaping our future. We connected with Keegan Bunt about how he feels about the future of the firm.*What do you see in the future for your professional growth here? "Endless knowledge. With how the firm is structured I can work on a new type of project almost daily, with that I am constantly learning new things."*What has been the most valuable lesson you have learned so far? "Work doesn’t have to be something you endure or dread. With the right environment and people it can be the highlight of your day."

Today marks my 13th Anniversary as a member of The Brydens Group.I feel privileged to have had the chance to collaborate with influential individuals who have enabled me to forge a fulfilling path while contributing value to the organization.Reflecting on my journey, if you had asked me at the outset if I envisioned myself in my current role, I would likely have answered affirmatively. I have always been driven and recognized the unique skillset I possess and how it can effectively be utilized. My philosophy includes volunteering my talents where I believe they can make a difference, regardless of personal gain. This approach has not only opened doors to unforeseen opportunities but also allowed me to display abilities beyond my designated responsibilities. At Brydens, I have transitioned from Brand Manager to Business Development Manager and now Group Corporate Affairs Manager—a career trajectory that aligns perfectly with my aspirations. Each role has been a learning experience, allowing me to refine my skills and maintain a perpetual sense of excitement.Ultimately, it boils down to comprehending your value. In essence, if you view yourself as a brand, what principles do you stand for?My journey highlights the significance of hard work, belief, and being a bit of a dreamer. Defining your identity and ensuring that you consistently deliver on it is paramount. As I celebrate 13 years with Brydens with great enthusiasm, I hope, in your journey, you too have a narrative of growth and self-discovery, where you have carved out opportunities by recognizing your inherent value.Picture: 13 Years Ago as a Brand Manager for Wines & Champagnes at a Wine Training demonstrating the wrong way to hold a glass😶
